2012 favorites, day 20

i don't know anything about this artist, only that i came across her video on tumblr this morning and that this is by far the best music video i've seen all year (directed by luke gilford, gorgeously). the combination of the song, and the narrative of the story, is heart-exploding. make sure you stick around for the end, because it's not what you're thinking.
